It was recorded at the Hampton Coliseum in Hampton, Virginia on 18 December 1981, for what was the penultimate show of the band's U.S. tour that year. The show was the first-ever live pay-per-view broadcast of a music concert.

"From The Vault" is a new series of live concerts from The Rolling Stones archive which are getting their first official release. "Hampton Coliseum –Live In 1981" is the first title in this series. The Rolling Stones American Tour in 1981 was the most successful tour of that year taking a then record $50 million dollars in ticket sales. The tour was in support of the critically and commercially successful "Tattoo You" album. There were fifty dates on the tour which ran from Philadelphia at the end of September through to Hampton,Virginia on the 18th and 19th of December. The show on December 18th, which was also Keith Richards' birthday, was the first ever music concert to be broadcast on television as a pay-per-view event. In 1971, to get breathing room from tax and management problems, the Stones go to France. Jimmy Miller parks a recording truck next to Keith Richards and Anita Pallenberg's Blue Coast villa, and by June the band is in the basement a few days at a time. Upstairs, heroin, bourbon, and visitors are everywhere. The Stones, other musicians and crew, Pallenberg, and photographer Dominique Tarle, plus old clips and photos and contemporary footage, provide commentary on the album's haphazard construction. By September, the villa is empty; Richards and Jagger complete production in LA. "Exile on Main Street" is released to mediocre reviews that soon give way to lionization.

GRRR! is a greatest hits album by the Rolling Stones. Released on 12 November 2012, it commemorates the band's 50th anniversary. The album features two new songs titled "Doom and Gloom" and "One More Shot", which were recorded in August 2012. The Blu ray Audio version contains 50 titles and has PCM uncompressed sound, also TrueHD 2 channels and DTS 2 channels.

The Rolling Stones appeared six times on "Ed Sullivan" between 1964 and 1969. Their first appearance, Oct. 25, 1964, featured a performance of "Time Is On My Side." They returned May 2, 1965 to perform "The Last Time," "Little Red Rooster," "Everybody Needs Somebody To Love" and, over the end credits, "2120 South Michigan Avenue." Later performances, presented in color, came on Feb. 13, 1966 ("(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction," "As Tears Go By," "19th Nervous Breakdown"); Sept. 11,1966 ("Paint It, Black," "Lady Jane," "Have You Seen Your Mother, Baby, Standing In The Shadows?") and Jan. 15, 1967, the final "Sullivan" appearance with founding member Brian Jones ("Ruby Tuesday" and the reworded "Let's Spend The Night Together" that became "Let's Spend Some Time Together"). The Nov. 23, 1969 appearance -- with guitarist Mick Taylor -- featured the songs "Gimme Shelter," "Love In Vain" and "Honky Tonk Woman." The Oct. 4 release features the 1965, '66 and '67 shows.)

Grrr Live! is a live album and concert film by the English rock band the Rolling Stones, released on 10 February 2023. It was recorded on 15 December 2012 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey as part of the band's 50 & Counting tour, in support of the GRRR! compilation released that year. It was originally broadcast as the pay-per-view 2012 concert film One More Shot: The Rolling Stones Live before being remixed and re-edited. The concert features guest appearances from Lady Gaga, John Mayer, Gary Clark Jr. The Black Keys, Bruce Springsteen and former Stones guitarist Mick Taylor.

Totally Stripped is a newly revised version of the documentary that was originally made to coincide with the release of The Rolling Stones Stripped album released in November 1995. It tells the story of the two studio sessions and three live shows that made up the Stripped project on 4 Blu ray discs. This followed the conclusion of the mammoth Voodoo Lounge tour and found The Stones reimagining tracks from their back catalogue in pared back versions alongside a couple of carefully chosen covers in the studio and doing smaller scale club gigs to showcase these versions, which was a marked contrast to the huge arenas and stadiums that had hosted the Voodoo Lounge tour. This new version of the documentary includes previously unseen footage and lays bare the inner workings of both The Rolling Stones and of some of their best loved tracks. Revealing, intimate and moving, Totally Stripped is unmissable.
